New Airbag MOT legislation
New legislation came into force on March 20th 2013 meaning that MOTs become stricter in relation to Airbags.
From this date all Airbag lights (SRS malfunction warning
lights) on the dashboard MUST light up when the ignition is turned on
and MUST go out once the car is started.

We are able to recondition all makes of airbag ECU with a 3 month guarantee. This will remove crash data and/or internal memory faults.
However, there will be instances where they cannot be repaired, for example, after flood damage. Where it has not been possible to recondition your airbag ECU we will not charge you unless you require your airbag ECU returned and then we will charge only for return recorded delivery postage.
All items for repair and reconditioning should be posted via a trackable delivery service requiring signature i.e Royal Mail Recorded or Special Delivery Service to:

Please remember to enclose your name, address and a contact telephone number with, where possible, a description of the fault. Alternatively complete the following form and send with your Airbag ECU in a padded Jiffy bag.
